Thaurlach: Getting There!
11/17/2007 - We're getting there! This has been a really fun fight to learn. Our patience, resourcefulness, resilience (and I suppose, our fidelity, *badump*) as a kinship is paying off, as we've made consistent progress every time we've danced the dance with Thaurlach.The rest of the instance is farmable for us; we can get through Thrang in just over 3 hours.
We're ready, however, to see Thaurlach fall. Soon... very soon!
Thrang Ruinated, Balrog (Thaurlach) Sighted!
11/04/2007 - All I can say is Wow. WOW. Great work everyone! We had our first peek at Thrang at the end of last week's run. This week, after trying three varieties on the same general strategy we had concoted Satuday, everything suddenly clicked on our first attempt this evening, and we executed flawlessly as a team!
We also got a glimpse at the Balrog, though the second phase was insta death for our unpreparedness. We'll be spending some time learning more about the encounter together Tuesday -- Hot Elf Lass, Levers, and Ever-Seer, oh my!
Again, nicely done and congrats to all of our kin who contributed this week!
The Rift Progress: Narnulubat Defeated, Thrang Sighted!
10/30/2007 - 2 more hours to spend tonight, and with it, Narnulubat one-shotted. We also got through the golem pair, after an epiphany as it reminded us of a certain ZG encounter and the first Thaddeus phase *cough*. We danced a very long dance with Eimyr, but fell at the sight of Thrang. Ahh well, next week :)
Great teamwork everyone who contributed this week -- 6.5 hrs, 6.5 raid locks! Perhaps we'll see ourselves a Balrog next week, eh? *grin*
